Here i further explored the transcendental style in a 2000 movie YIYI. The Art of Boredom is a video essay that explored the concept of transcendental style in film. YIYI is one of the few film that is unique in its approach. Transcendental style has the world of its own that i think is worth exploring, film like The Tree of Life and many more from Terrence Malick or Tokyo Story by Yasujirō Ozu is a few i have in mind next.
